Cashews are also rich in antioxidants which lower the risk of cardiovascular disease and other conditions associated with the heart. Cashews are considered to be heart healthy foods.  These powerful nuts also contain magnesium which is beneficial for the heart because it helps to lower the blood pressure and prevent against the risk of a heart attack.

Cashews also contain healthy amounts of copper, a mineral that is necessary in keeping the skin and hair healthy.  Also, because of the calcium contained in these nuts, bone health can be improved by eating healthy amounts of cashews.
