Are Raisins Good For You?

They contain antioxidants which help prevent disease and thwart premature aging symptoms. The antioxidants found in them help protect against age related sicknesses and diseases.

The antioxidant properties found in raisins also help lower cholesterol levels and actually prevent LDL, which can be harmful to the artery walls through plaque build-up.

Raisins contain the antioxidants known as Catechins which are thought to be extremely beneficial to your health as they promote colon health and keep things clean and efficiently running in the digestive tract.

They fill you up without packing on calories and weight.

Raisins are rich with vitamins and nutrients that are so good for you.  Raisins contain vitamin B6, iron, calcium, and a significant amount of potassium. In fact, in just one serving of raisins there are over 300 mg of potassium.
