Does Cranberry Juice Make You Poop?

If you drink pure cranberry juice in excess, it can make you poop. While most people use cranberry juice as a natural diuretic, the more pure the juice, the more time you may be spending in the bathroom.

Cranberry juice contains a number of antioxidants that are designed to eliminate waste from your body, whether through defecation or urination.  The purer the juice, the more natural ingredients are found.  The cranberry fruit contains a large supply of fiber if many are eaten, so if the fruit is juiced a laxative type element may occur. Drinking a large glass of pure cranberry juice every morning will eliminate all forms of constipation.

The best kind of cranberry juice is not found on the grocery store shelves, but rather in health food stores or the organic sections of natural food stores.  If you are wanting to drink cranberry juice to relieve constipation it is important to leave out the sugar and additives in your juice.  Look for labels that contain pure cranberries and water, as opposed to sugar and syrups.

Some of the best kind of cranberry juice can be made at home using a juicer.  While it does take time to prepare, the benefits are great if consumed on a regular basis.  Say goodbye to constipation as you reach for that glass of pure laxative goodness.
